Gallery Directors:
J. Scott Kelly
As a freshman in college and studying the arts, Scott developed a great interest in realistic painters. While studying painting, he found that he could achieve his goals through photography, so he chose to use a camera as his brush. After years of apprenticeship and study, he graduated in 1985 with an honors degree in Photographic Technology from Florida Institute of Technology. For over 23 years, Scott and his wife, Karen, have owned the very successful Island Images Professional Photography Studio. Both Scott and Karen are native Floridians and over the years their photography business has taken them all over the United States, as well as to Greece, Finland, China, Curacao, Grand Cayman, Mexico, and The Bahamas to capture wonderful moments in their clients' lives. They have recently relocated in Vero Beach with their daughter, Kaila.
SM Boris Robinson
An avid photographer for almost 40 years, Boris grew up in Tunisia and England in a family of artists and writers. Boris came to the US at the age of seven, living first in New Jersey, then Indiana and Boston, before relocating to Florida in 1987. Beginning in black and white film, his initial interests were mostly people and architecture. Photography has always been one of his creative passions, while his work life went from high energy physics and working at Fermi National Accelerator Labs in college, patenting a mass flowmeter and starting a company in Boston, to technical writing for the last twenty years in Florida. Still preferring to work with black and white images, Boris is now using digital photography and has gained knowledge of the new technologies.

Gallery of Hope
Gallery of Hope is a section of the Southeast Gallery of Photographic Art devoted to providing a physical venue and an online presence for local non-profits and charitable organizations for the purpose of raising funds and bringing awareness to their missions through the art of photography. The gallery is available for such events, which typically benefit local charities and raise money for the charities through 'silent auction' of donated art. Gallery Co-Director J. Scott Kelly founded this concept in an effort to do his part in giving back to the community and providing for those less advantaged. The Gallery of Hope website can be found at www.galleryofhope.org.
